ITINERARY
| Day 01 |

Cusco - Cachora – Rosalina Beach
We leave from Cusco at 5:00 am in the morning, toward to Cachora village 2,900 m.a.s.l (9,514 ft). Here we will meet our horsemen and arrange our equipment on mules and horses to start with our trek, it is a 2 hour hike to Capuliyoc 3,010 m.a.s.l (9,875 ft) the highest point of the trek, from where we have our first beautiful views of the Apurimac valley stretching below as well as the snow-capped peaks of Padreyoc and Wayna Cachora. We then descend to Coca Masana 2,330 m.a.s.l (7,644 ft) where the climate becomes warmer and the flora and fauna begin to change. Finally we arrive at Rosalina Beach 1,550 m.a.s.l (5,085 ft) beside the raging Apurimac River where we will set up camp and spend the night.

| Day 02 |

Rosalina Beach - Choquequirao
After an early breakfast we climb a steep trail in the almost vertical wall of the Apurimac canyon, our first stop will be in Santa Rosa village 2,100 m.a.s.l (6,889 ft) then continue to Raqaypata beside the Chunchullumayo River where we will have a late lunch. Along the way we will observe beautiful orchids and many birds. From Raqaypata to Choquequirao 3,104 m.a.s.l (10,183 ft) is a 2 hour hike approximately, we will arrive at the archaeological site in time to visit it and enjoy the sunset.

| Day 03 |

Choquequirao
Today we have plenty of time to explore the amazing archaeological complex of Choquequirao, having an amazing view of the Vilcabamba range, Choquetacarpo mountain, Blanco and Apurimac rivers, our guide will explain the history and importance of this site. We will visit the llamas terraces, back to the campsite for lunch and in the afternoon we will visit the other site mountain,down the camp to see the agricultural place and the river that fed the archeological complex.

| Day 04 |

Choquequirao - Chiquisca
After our breakfast we begin our way back to Chiquisca 1820 m.a.s.l (5,971 ft) that is in the other side of the canyon.

| Day 05 |
: |
Chiquisca - Cusco
Our last day trekking, we will appreciate the canyon that forms the Apurimac River, ascending to Capuliyoc pass to finally arrive to Cachora where our van is waiting for us to go toward Cusco city.
