ITINERARY
| Day 01 |

Cusco – Cancha Cancha
We leave Cusco early in the morning and travel in a private bus to Huarán, the starting point of the trek, we will walk for approximately 5h following an uphill path that will start in a valley with lush vegetation and will take us to our first campsite in Cancha Cancha, a small farming community in the middle of spectacular mountain scenery. We will eat lunch along the way. Once we arrive at Cancha Cancha, we will set up our campsite and get to know the local people and their way of living.

| Day 02 |

Cancha Cancha – Quiswarani
We will leave camp at around 7.30 am to walk uphill to the first mountain pass of the trek, the Abra de Pachacutec 4,400 m.a.s.l (14,435 ft) , from which we will enjoy awe-inspiring views of glacier lagoons and the surrounding valleys. Along the hike, we will also have spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains in the area, such as Colquecruz, Minas and Sirijuani. We will have lunch after the pass, to then descend to Quiswarani, a small peasant and textile community where we will set up our second campsite.

| Day 03 |

Quiswarani – Cuncani – Lares
Leaving Quiswarani early in the morning to follow an uphill path, passing along the beautiful Queullaqocha lagoon, towards the second mountain pass Willkiccasa 4,100 m.a.s.l (13,451 ft), with impressive views on both sides of the pass, especially of the Colquecruz and Pitusiray mountains. In the afternoon we will continue on the trail along changing puna, lakes and agricultural areas until we arrive in Cuncani 3½ hours later, where we will have the lunch, then we will continue with our journey down the valley until reach Lares for supper, and camp.

| Day 04 |

Lares – Machupicchu
After enjoy this medicinals pools we have breakfast, leaving by private van heading to Ollantaytambo, in the way we will visit Ancasmarca, that is an archeological place located in Calca province, then we will reach the Sacred Valley, our lunch will be at Yanahuara village, arriving to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Machu Picchu, where we will arrive after 1 ½ hour, check in in the hotel and you have time to explore the Aguas Calientes town.

| Day 05 |

Machupicchu – Cusco
Today we will wake up early to board the first bus to Machupicchu citadel to enjoy this magnificent place with few people, is the best time of the day, you will have plenty of time to explore the whole citadel, you also have chances to climb the Waynapicchu, to visit the temple of the moon and the inca bridge as well. Our buffet lunch will be in Aguas Calientes The afternoon train takes us back to Cusco, our representative will wait for you at Poroy train station to bring you to your hotel.
