ITINERARY
| Day 01 |

Cusco - Soraypampa
Early departure in our private transport to Mollepata 2,900 m.a.s.l (9,514 ft) . This is a beautiful scenic drive with stops for panoramic views of magnificent snow capped mountains as the Salkantay, then we arrive to our trailhead, called Cruzpata 3,200 m.a.s.l (10,498 ft) where we meet our horsemen, we begin the trek through traditional Andean communities, then we stop in Challacancha for lunch. We continue walking for approx 2 hrs through unspoiled Andean villages to Soraypampa 3,850 m.a.s.l (12,631 ft) our first campsite.

| Day 02 |

Soraypampa -Chaullay
After an early breakfast we start trekking, today we ascent to Apacheta pass 4,590 m.a.s.l (15,059 ft). From this point we can appreciate the spectacular views of the Salkantay, a stunning snow capped mountain 6,264 m.a.s.l (20,551ft) the second highest peak in Cusco’s region, we appreciate the Umantay and Huayanay mountains as well, white river and small lakes, following our journey we arrive to Huayracpunku for lunch, and then after 2-3 hrs downhill walk we arrive to our campsite at Chaullay 2,920 m.a.s.l (9,580 ft).

| Day 03 |

Chaullay - La Playa.
Today the trek lead us to Uscamayuc, gradually we will be introduced to the cloud forest and high Jungle habitat, we will see different kinds of plants, fruits, flowers, birds etc. here coca and banana crops can be observed, a waterfall will refresh our body and mind, with luck we can observe the famous Peruvian National Bird " The Andean Cock of the rock " stop at Wiñaypoq’o for lunch, after 3 hour walking we reach our last campsite in La Playa 2,350 m.a.s.l (7,709 ft) where a small village is located.

| Day 04 |

La Playa - Aguas Calientes
We begin our trek to Lucmabamba village, where we appreciate the remains of the Inka trail, following this rising trail we will see coffee, banana and passion fruit plantations, after 4 hrs walking we arrive to Llactapata 2,700 m.a.s.l (8,858 ft) from where, we can see Machu Picchu citadel. Downhill to the hydroelectric plant 1,870 m.a.s.l (6,135 ft) mts. where we have the last lunch of the trek, we will take 45 minute train journey to Aguas Calientes village 2,000 m.a.s.l (6,561 ft). | Day 05 |

Machu Picchu - Cusco
Early bus ride for 25 minutes to Machu Picchu Citadel, we will spend the day in both guided and individual exploration, visiting the most fascinating features of this astounding and mysterious Inka settlement. You will have plenty of time to hike to the summit of Wayna Picchu for an amazing overview of the site, while others may want to explore the temple of the Moon or the Sungate. After a full-on experience of this new seven wonder, we return to Aguas Calientes and board the train back to Cusco
