ITINERARY

Day 01 : Cusco – Wiñay Wayna - Aguas Calientes
We will pick you up from your hotel, transfer to the train station and ride the train to 104 km, where we start to walk to Wiñay Wayna archaeological site, along the route we will appreciate lush vegetation, then we continue to walk to Machu Picchu, we reach Intipunku and Machu Picchu citadel at a first glance, the bus will take us down to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night at a hotel.

Day 02 : Machu Picchu – Cusco
We beginning the day with the opportunity to see a beautiful sunrise, and enjoy the whispers of the ancient city before the daily bustle begin. The remainder of the day holds various opportunities of exploration: including the Machu Picchu Inca citadel, a climb to the sacred peak of Wayna Picchu or a walk through the lush cloud forest to the Temple of the Moon, buffet lunch, and the afternoon train takes you back to Cusco, transfer from the train station to your hotel.

Inka trail trip notes

Inka Trail regulations limit the number of people allowed on the Inka Trail to 500 people per day (including tourist, guides, porters, cooks). Permits are given with anticipation; Qasana Tours require your full name, date of birth, nationality and passport number, minimum 3-4 months before your travel date.
