Itinerary

Day 01: Cusco - Sacred Valley
Arrival to Cusco, transfer to your hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in the afternoon visit to the Inca site of Pisaq, located at the top of the mountain, surrounded by terraces. The highlights are the Intiwatana ceremonial sector and the largest pre-Columbian cemetery of the continent. Pisaq is one of the most visited places in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, for its striking architecture comparable to Machu Picchu. Return to our hotel in the Valley.

Day 02: Sacred Valley of the Incas
Excursion to the town of Chinchero, where you can appreciate the craft market, less commercial compared to the Pisaq market, Chinchero is famous for the traditional textiles, visit to the archaeological complex Chinchero, followed by the town of Maras, known for its colonial architecture, and then visit to agricultural laboratory of Moray, which the ancient Peruvians used to study the optimal growth conditions for their crops of corn, quinoa, potatoes, etc. Visit to the Salineras, salt mines on the south side of the Urubamba River, consisting of about 5,000 salt pans glistening in the high altitude sunlight quite fascinating. You have a picnic lunch with Andean scenery.

Day 03: Machu Picchu
Early morning visit to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, and then a journey by train take you to Machu Picchu, we see spectacular scenery as we descends into the tropical forests along the banks of the Urubamba River. Guided tour of Machu Picchu, a wonderful Inca citadel built on top of the mountains during the height of the Inca Empire. Buffet lunch.

Day 04: Machu Picchu - Cusco
The day hosts a number of opportunities to explore and know the entire Inca citadel, the Temple of the Moon or climb the sacred mountain of Wayna Picchu or visit the nature reserve of Mandor. In the afternoon train takes us back to Cusco. Reception at Poroy train station, transfer to your hotel.

Day 05: Cusco-Lima
