Guides

We are convinced that a good guide is the key to making your trip an unforgettable experience, our services are led by expert local guides with extensive knowledge of natural history and culture, they speak excellent English, Spanish and other languages, all are accredited guides who continually update their knowledge through seminars, courses and are trained in first aid.
Our Cooks

We know that an adequate diet both in its quality and quantity is essential in high energy consuming trips such as the adventure programs that we run. We do set up menus to ensure the quality of food provided during the treks, our selected team of cooks have been trained and are constantly updating their knowledge in Peruvian and international cuisine. They are responsible for ensuring high quality meals on time and manage the team of porters and /or horsemen.

Porters and Horsemen

The porters carry all the collective equipment during the Inca Trail; they carry up to 20 kg of load according to the Inca Trail regulation, which we fully respect. In all treks other than the Inca Trail, wranglers are in charge of the horses or mules that carry the equipment. Both porters and horsemen are paid with fair salaries on time, and Qasana Tours look after the health and education of their families.
